Today, Monday, February 8, 2016 Acadia University is cancelling classes as of 12:30 p.m. due to the weather forecast. Students, faculty, and staff are not expected to remain on campus or to travel to campus.

A cancellation of classes also includes a cancellation of labs, tutorials, tests and exams. If you have questions, communicate directly with your respective instructor, supervisor, or event organizer.

The University will provide on-campus students with access to the Vaughan Memorial Library (Circulation Desk), K.C. Irving Environmental Science Centre, Acadia Athletic Complex, ASU Students’ Centre and other campus facilities based on the ability to provide adequate staffing and cleared walkways and roads. Residence Buildings and Wheelock Dining Hall are deemed essential and do not close.

Today, Wheelock is planning an early closure at 6:30 p.m.

Acadia’s University Class Cancellation and Closing Policy can be viewed here.
