Undergraduate Students
(Online, Intersession (S/S), Certificate in French Proficiency, TESOL)

Current Acadia University Students
1. Click the LOGIN button - top right of the page.
2. Choose Registration Term Spring and Summer Registration (right of page). Opens February 12, 2018.

Once logged in, you should see INFORMATION, TIMETABLE, BACKPACK, SCHEDULE across the top of the screen.
a) Select your courses using the TIMETABLE link.
b) Click ADD to put the course in your Backpack.
c) Confirm your courses using the BACKPACK link by selecting the check box for the courses you wish to be registered for and clicking the REGISTER button.

New/Former Students*
1. Complete the Application Form. (If you have already applied, go to #2.) 

  • Please choose Independent student if you are applying for an Online course or a Spring and Summer course.
  • Please choose Certificate in French Proficiency if you are applying for the CFP program.

Note: If you are applying on a Letter of Permission, please indicate this and from which University, in the notes section of the Application Form.

2. You will be notified when your application is approved and you are eligible to register. Register for courses following the steps for Current Acadia Students outlined above.

Graduate Students
(Master of Education, Certificate in Math)

New Independent Graduate Students (not currently enrolled at Acadia University):

Apply to Acadia University using the graduate online admission form.

  • Select "Independent" as your program to identify as an independent student. 
  • If you are applying for the MEd program, please select that option instead.
  • Indicate in the Notes section if you are applying on a Letter of Permission from another university
  • Once you have been admitted, you will then complete your course registration as outlined below.

Current Graduate Students

1. Click the login button (above)
2. Choose Registration term (select from menu on the right)
3. Select Timetable, find the course you want, then select ADD.  The course will then be in your backpack.
4. Submit Payment by visiting or contacting the Office of Student Accounts

Cohort Students

1. Click the Login button (above)
2. Choose Registration term (select from the menu on the right)
3. Then, find your courses listed in your backpack


*New/Former Student - you have never applied to Acadia or you have not taken an Acadia University course in the last 24 months.

About Online Registration

  • Backpack - View courses you have selected from the timetable. When you are ready, you can complete your registration by submitting payment. Your course will be reviewed to ensure any course requirements are met.   
  • Registered - In this tab, you can see your current course registration status.
  • Visual Registration Guide
  • Extensions - To request an extension, click the extend button for the course and then complete the extension request form. There is a maximum of one 6-month extension per course. Please provide a detailed explanation of why you need the extension.
  • Drop Course - Once you have selected to drop/withdraw from a course, please allow 2 business days for processing. Refund Policies apply.
