SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This course considers the use of entrepreneurial skills to solve social problems through the creation and management of both not-for-profit and for-profit mission-driven ventures. Topics covered include: funding and financial sustainability; capital markets for social ventures; social leadership; measurement of performance with regard to social impact; innovation; leadership; opportunities for entrepreneurial social ventures (international development, education, environment, community development and other social issues); and opportunity identification and assessment.
